« Mariées trop tôt » est une bande dessinée de sensibilisation sur les conséquences sociales, économiques et sanitaires du mariage des enfants. Elle a été élaborée à l’initiative du WiLDAF-Afrique de l’Ouest et de Save The Children avec l’appui financier du ministère des affaires étrangères du Danemark (DANIDA) et de l’African Women Development Fund (AWDF) dans le cadre des projets « Programme de Renforcement des capacités des Organisations de la société civile et des réseaux de jeunes au Sahel pour protéger les enfants en situation de Mobilité et mettre fin au mariage d’Enfants (PROS/ME) ».
Cette bande dessinée de 32 pages, avec en bonus un documentaire de 5 pages, est une bande dessinée de sensibilisation sur les conséquences sociales, économiques et sanitaires du mariage des enfants, produite dans un contexte d’expansion de la pratique en Afrique de l’ouest et du centre où 4 femmes sur 10 âgées de 20 à 24 ans ont été mariées avant l’âge de 18 ans.
